Brunch Cocktails! (Bloody Maria + Tequila Sunrise)
“Brunch on Sunday?” YES, YES, and, um, let me think… YES. I used to not like Sundays. Womp, womp. Mostly, because Fridays and Saturdays were *almost* always more fun. Also, because Sunday meant the day before Monday (aka the start of the work or school week) BORING. And DEPRESSING.
But, every since I hopped over the line between being a child to legal drinking aged WOMAN, I realized Sundays were the best days of the week. They were the days where I could wake up from a crazy Saturday night only to keep the party going in a much more adult manner during brunch. A day where it was not looked down upon to have a higher ratio of alcohol than fresh juice in your glass… I mean seriously. If you’re not sipping on champagne on a Sunday morning, then who the heck are you? Not my friend, I assure you. Just kidding… kind of.
Last Sunday, I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying brunch in the great company of fellow Tastemade app users. If you don’t know what Tastemade is I’ll break it down for you real simple: It’s Instagram meets Yelp meets YOUR VERY OWN TV SHOW. Seriously. You rave about your favorite spots to eat and the app weaves it all together for you in an awesome 1-minute video with music and everything! (Disclaimer: I wish this was a disclaimer where I told you all about how I’m getting paid to talk about them. Guess what? I’m not. Although, they probably should. Wassup, Tastemade???)
Anyway, Tastemade is amazing because they make me feel like a superstar and they’re continuously inviting me to great tasting events at their studio in Santa Monica. Allow me to flood your life with photographs of my Sunday brunch.
